Hollow is a group exhibition presenting new and recent pieces by Iris Dittler, Ulrike Mohr, Céline Struger, and Hamid Yaraghchi. The exhibition brings together painting, drawing and sculpture to capture the sensation of the weight of external pressures that can lead to a psychological hollowing out Using trepidation as a creative state, these artists explore transformation as something elemental: in the mind and the body, but also in wood, fire, metal, and water. This is a response to the inescapable forces of our time. This exhibition is not about work that is meant to communicate, but rather a collapse into making as the only viable option when other agency is denied.
