”(…) For Panta Rhei Carinthian sculptor Céline Struger collected ideas using video sketches of the river Drau/drava over the course of the joint research. The inspiration for the sculpture pieces Riverside Relic and Riverside Trace derive from the debris and waste found at riverbanks. Her work often contains traces of human infringement, such as cigarette buds, plastic waste and footprints. For the exhibition at Pavelhaus Struger heaped up a puddle of mud from the nearby river as a site-specific presentation display for her artwork.”
